Write one main difference between asexual and sexual mode of reproduction. Which species is likely to have comparatively better chances of survival - the one reproducing asexually or the one reproducing sexually? Give reason to justify your answer.
Difference between asexual and sexual mode of reproduction:
- In sexual reproduction two opposite sexes are involved where as in asexual reproduction only one individual is involved.
- In sexual reproduction male and female gamete formation takes place where as in asexual no gamete formation occurs.
Sexually reproducing organisms have better chances of survival because more variations are generated.
